Hootenany Pancakes


(aka German Pancakes, Dutch Babies)
4 tbsp butter
1 C milk
6 eggs
½ tsp salt
1 C flour

Melt butter in dripper cake pan in heating oven.  Make sure entire bottom and lower sides are coated with butter, pour remaining into mixture below.  Combine & blend together flour, eggs, milk and salt.  (Add extra melted butter.)  Pour mixture into the hot, buttered pan and bake 400̊ for 18+ minutes.  Remove and serve with jam, syrup, powdered sugar, honey, or whatever.  Mmmm!

(I ALWAYS double this recipe, and it's almost not enough anymore for my family!)
