(This was served at our 2014 Stake Women’s Conference. It's quickly becoming one of our family favorites!)
6 eggs, beaten
1 cup milk
1 lb. small curd cottage cheese
1 cup Bisquick
1 lb. cheese, grated
1 cube butter, melted
1 cup chopped ham (optional)
Mix all together. Bake in 9x13 pan at 350° for approx.45 minutes or until golden brown. Test for doneness. This is a very versatile dish. You can change the cheese, add bacon bits or sausage, leave the meat out, add different herbs, the combinations are endless.
...a place for me to keep track of recipes I use regularly or want to try. This way I won't lose them, I can search for them easily, and conveniently access them electronically. It also makes it easier to share them. :)

Mom H's Egg Nog
When we have fresh eggs, (eggs fresh from hens in the yard or neighborhood,) we like to make this drink my mom used to make when I was a kid. Non alcoholic, of course!
The recipe is for one serving. I ask how many people want some, and make it in the quantity of those having some.
1 egg
1 C milk (any kind you want, thick or thin)
1/4 tsp vanilla
1 T sugar (to taste)
1/4 tsp cinnamon
Dash nutmeg
Blend this together on high for one minute, and enjoy!
My mom had a huge family and so she'd thin things out frequently. Here is her recipe for a whole blender jar full:
6 cups milk (the eggs will froth up a lot)
2-3 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
1/3 C sugar (to taste)
1 tsp cinnamon
Dash+ nutmeg
It would be a lot skinnier if I made it that way, so maybe I'll try her recipe today... :)

Crepes
4 eggs
1/4 t salt
2 C flour
2 1/4 C milk
1/4 C melted butter
1/4 t salt
2 C flour
2 1/4 C milk
1/4 C melted butter
Combine ingredients in blender jar. Blend for about 1 minute. Scrape down sides with rubber spatula and blend for another 15 seconds or until smooth. Pour into a batter bowl from which you can pour into small non-stick frying pan. Pour about 1/4 cup into frying pan and tip pan around coating bottom. Fry until small bubbles form and begin to pop. Turn over with turner, and finish the other side. Turn onto serving platter. Serve with any desired topping. Our favorite is sprinkling white sugar and rolling it up. (This is a small batch.)
Popovers
Start with a cold oven
Prepare 12 muffin pans by greasing generously.
In mixing bowl combine:
3 eggs
1 c milk
1 c flour
1/2 tsp salt
Beat vigorously until just blended; do not worry about lumps. (I prefer the blender because we don't like lumps.) Fill each muffin pan 3/4 full. Place in cold oven. Set oven control at 450 degrees and turn oven on. Bake for 30 minutes, without opening oven to check. Serve immediately. (Jam, honey, etc.)
(I always at least double this recipe.)
Hootenany Pancakes
(aka German Pancakes, Dutch Babies)
4 tbsp butter
1 C milk
6 eggs
½ tsp salt
1 C flour
Melt butter in dripper cake pan in heating oven. Make sure entire bottom and lower sides are coated with butter, pour remaining into mixture below. Combine & blend together flour, eggs, milk and salt. (Add extra melted butter.) Pour mixture into the hot, buttered pan and bake 400̊ for 18+ minutes. Remove and serve with jam, syrup, powdered sugar, honey, or whatever. Mmmm!
(I ALWAYS double this recipe, and it's almost not enough anymore for my family!)
